November 3, 2007

Today is Day 3 of NaNoWriMo and I'm up to about five thousand words, which puts me on pace to just about hit the coveted 50k mark by the end of the month. This is my first year doing NaNo, and I'm pretty excited about it. The piece I'm working on, The Hands of Jonah Brown (working title) may not end up being novel length, but it should hit at least 30 or 40k after I flesh it out. What's it about, you ask? That, for now, is classified.

    I "won" NaNo in 2005, you're at a good pace. Skipped last year (had a 1-month old at the time...) Trying this year but so far I'm at a big fat zero. Good luck!
